| reply to Rattler Weird that the new page don't show up for some. Looks like you are getting the now old version of the web page. Probably a web server needs to be updated. But that is not critical for now as you can see the line-up from the two PDF links. The new channels won't show up until June 30 and for Fort Wayne only at that - so far.
The bottom line is that a major channel shuffle is coming which will pair up the SD and HD channels. USA SD is still at 50, USA-HD will be at 550; TNT at 51, TNT-HD at 551; Sci-Fi at 180, Sci-Fi HD at 680.
But with the Washington Metro shutdown not scheduled to begin until July 21 (or so), I fear we won't get the new HD channels until mid to late August. It will be a long summer. Still, better than the poor blighted souls in TX and CA... |

Any Ideas? » www22.verizon.com/content/fiostv···neup.htm Seems unlikely if you take a look at the the PDF version... there's not differentiation between the broadcast/local HDs and the new "entertainment", etc HDs when you look at the PDF layout. |

| reply to afiggatt I just got a letter, Thurs or Fri, that the changeover is to occur, for the Philly VHO, on June 23* (that's pushed back from June 2). It'll be interesting to see when the new lineup takes effect here.
As an aside, they've extended the date for ordering the free DCT-700's to June 12 from ~May 23.

Who would be next after Portland and Indiana Western PA or more specifically, Pittsburgh? I was incorrect. It is OR and Western PA that were digital only from the start. Fort Wayne, IN had analog and started the shutdown on April 1. So Western PA, Central & SE VA, NY would be the next logical candidates.
The new line-up shows MSNBC-HD, which I don't think has gone live yet. So either MSNBC-HD is starting up by June 30 or it is a placeholder for the channel to come later. Completely unfounded thought for MSNBC-HD for the NY, northern NJ markets: what happens if the long standing exclusive Cablevision contract doesn't cover a MSNBC-HD channel? Probably won't happen, but it would be funny if Verizon could add MSNBC-HD but not the SD channel. Note: the exclusive contract reportedly doesn't cover the Olympics so MSNBC SD should be turned on in NY for the games. |

| reply to matcarl Woah, this just sunk in... so all the Starz HD and Showtime HD channels are NOT premium channels!? They're on channels 840-867 and listed under "Movies" right under HD Net Movies (which is not a premium) and as before the Premiums ARE pulled out separately... If that's the case, SWEET! |

| reply to Acerone said by Acerone :Don't have FIOS so I'm just asking... So 20 new HD channels coming on top of the 30 you have now? For me it will be 27 new, to go with 27 existing... Central VA doesn't have the HD version of a RSN (Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic) - we do have the SD version. |

I think they're still part of the Movie Package, cuz their SD counterparts are still asterisked under "Movie Package". My guess is that you still need the Movie Package to get their HD versions, even though the HD listings aren't broken out. |

HBO HD etc are pulled out and **'d as premiums... but not Starz/Showtime. Probably some big fat typo, though, huh? |

Stars, Encore, Showtime, Flix and TMC (what have I forgotten?) are part of the "Movie Package" and do cost extra. For some reason, HBO and Maximum Sin are labeled as "Premium".

| reply to darcilicious I think they are still part of the Movie Pack. There is a big gap between HDNet Movies (746) & Starz! (841) Following the SD lineup, The Sports Pack (300-339) could be 800-839 for the HD version...although Golf(HD) & Outdoor(HD) are not in that block. It looks like they were using a similar lineup with SD(1-490) and HD(501-990) |

And whether FIOS will carry the overflow games on Big Ten Network. |
