Tornado!

Well, technically no, but there was a wonderful green sky with some wicked winds whistling overhead with an impressive wall cloud that just slid over. The sirens actually got used for once.

Sirens here too, but just some strong showers. Sky turned a little green.

More on the way!

This is getting ridiculous. Training tornadic thunderstorms and a toddler who just realized he's afraid of thunder.

Intellicast is indicating these storm tops go to 65,000 feet. I just had to make that comment earlier today about it being a quiet Spring.....

My 5 yr old was not liking the thunder when he went to bed - most of it staying south of us but plenty of thunder.

You can bring your 5 year old over to hide in the basement with my daughter and 4 dogs. All of them hate thunder..
I had 3 dogs hiding under my desk that night while the light show was going on outside.

LOL - were the tornadoes in the Oxford area confirmed? I went to my fathers house in Spring Valley on the 4th (he is moving his wife to Arizona this week) just to make sure everything was ok and got hit with the second set of storms. Lots of flooding in the Spring Valley area - lots of fields under water (and corn as well).

Not according to the NWS, although there has been some scuttlebutt about WCPO getting carried away with their use of VIPIR and "overruling" the NWS on the air.
