Now I'll have a good excuse to why I'm showering just once a week.

We have a "lively" discussion going on over this in the SoCal Forum.

And that is for SoCal. There is no reason why we can't have our own discussion about this for Northern California.

Then why mention it? Unless you wanted to stir up something.

So is anyone going to cut back usage or what?

I'll make an effort to use even more disposable items like cups and plates.

I'll keep it under advisement.

I've already started to cut back. Watering the lawns every 3rd day. Making sure I'm doing full loads when washing clothes. The same with the dishwasher. Also practicing the "if it's yellow let it mellow. if it's brown, flush it down."

In science camp as a kid going through the drought, they didn't let us flush the toilets after use. Our cabin stank. I don't ever want to go through that again. I have automatic flushing toilets with sensors, so there's a flush every time.

You know what sucks? This is the first year I really started a regimented schedule of weeding and feeding my lawn, both front and back. I will have to just cut back to just survival watering. I guess until I am forced to not water them, at all.

I never water my dirt, er, lawn.

We do live in a desert, after all. Green lawns don't really belong here.

Yeah, my car has a nice protective layer of dirt on it too.

Now, if only solar could get a wee bit cheaper. Or elect gets even more expensive. Sigh.
