Not to mention his rebuttal to web apps is weak not taking into consideration the fact that web apps are on the rise and that there are already bandwidth intensive apps such as Netflix's play now which allows users to stream movies to their PCs.

If Netflix were to make their entire movie lineup available online I would have no need to get the physical DVD via standard mail. This only would consume the majority if not all of 40GBs.

In the end I see caps as a means of stifling competition, delaying updates to existing infrastructure and passing the expense to the consumer.

Another thing is I want peace of mind in that I can get on the Internet and not have to worry about how much bandwidth I've consumed. It's backwards in my opinion.
