No, I'm sorry, there is competition. Just because it's not lowering prices as much as you like doesn't mean that four (maybe five if you have Alltel) major providers and possibly regional or urban carriers isn't competition...
There are reasons for prices being what they are- infrastructure costs are high in wireless, especially since all carriers are beginning to embark on major network upgrades. And the price of gas hits cell-phone companies as well. |
