Also, you can get unlimited on T-Mobile with no contract. Yes, you'll either have to pay unsubsidized prices for the phones (which, all things considered, isn't absolutely horrible...just rather expensive) or bring your own and pay $7 + tax for a SIM, but no need to be roped into a contract on TMo. Viva la FlexPay :)

Actually noticed the UL family stuff today and covered it on www.unlimitedcellular.info FWIW. $50 per line add-a-line isn't too bad for nationwide unlimited, even if gas is $4 a gallon. If your communications save you 12.5 gallons worth of gas per month, then there you have it :) I think my $43 a month phone, including insurance, saves 10 gallons worth of gas per month :)

And yes, there is competition in the cellular space.
