Gentlemen. We're screwed. The hey days of internet are now over and in the next few years residential participation will probably take a massive decline as people shed a service they feel is obtrusive, unreliable and overpriced. You are living in a fantasy world if you think that this throttling affects ordinary users, or that ordinary users would care enough about this to even google the term "throttling". To suggest that people will leave the internet because they can't suck down unlimited bandwidth is just complete fantasyland.
Ah, but you also think that bandwidth is free, so that explains the fantasyland.
