trying to get jet

I'm wondering if any one else has any luck getting jet to extend cable to their homes. They already sent me a copy of the long drops policy and have talked to them through phone and emails. I've found out cable is 3mile away(46homes) and at 4$ a foot it doesn't look good. Jet took over and upgraded the area and i was hopeful cable would be extended just because they could! Cannot get dsl, no signal from either W.I.S.P.
Anyways i was just wondering if anyone else had success with similar distance and number of homes. Info on any hoops to jump through would be appreciated!

I wouldn't recommend getting Jet Broadband because whenever they hook you up then jack your prices after a while and you decide you want another service or no service at all--they will come and unhook you but they will leave the cable lines conditioned so that you can't get any other services and then they will try and charge you a ridiculous fee to un-condition and release those lines.
