YqE41k24 : Your descriptions don't make sense to me, and the picture needs more detail to be helpful. Some make and model #s would also help.

You probably are having conflicting DHCP servers. Are you sure that you've turned the "ISP Router" DHCP server function off? I would try disconnecting the "Server", enabling DHCP on the "ISP Router" so that it allocates addresses, and pulling out "Router". See if your phone work when they are plugged into "ISP Router" -- then introduce the equipment step by step.

Your phone problems could happen if "Server" allocated an IP to the phone, then after a few minutes (half the set timeout interval), the telephone tried to renew its address and a mis-configured "ISP Router" responded with a different address instead. Or perhaps "Router" was running DHCP as well. This would derail the phones IP conversation.

I'm also not sure how "Router" could help your network. By Router, do you mean some kind of boundary/NAT/firewall device? Perhaps that is also getting derailed by DHCP confusion and falling back to a factory pre-set.

Also, does this have anything to do with wireless or security?

anon : Ok,here's what Ken is trying to say.....please see attached diagram. This network is at a remote worksite. We had it set up and working fine and then added the two hybrid phones. They work fine but drop calls 100% of the time if given a few minutes. We thought that it was a network conflict and decided to put the phones on a separate LAN using the additional router. This has increased our call time to 10-15 minutes before dropping. It works fine as long as the IP address of the 2nd router holds but periodically it changes itself back to factory default. Does this make better sense?
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">

CCF00632008_···0000.pdf

docrice : I'd have to agree with Anav in that it's hard to get a clear picture of your setup. Are these routers connected to the ISP in parallel with their own public IPs, or is one router behind another? Is it like this?

ISP -> router1 -> router2

I'm assuming the 192.168.x.x networks are /24. That said, please describe it more carefully (and please use periods in your sentences).
