Can a Ps 3 hurt a WISP antenna?

Hello again guys, I have another problem with my wisp just a month later. Last month I talked about my wisp going down for 5-minutes and then coming back up for 3-4-minutes and dong this all the time. I tried everything to fix it but the owner came out and said the antenna was bad and replaced it. My WISP, just a month later is back to doing the same thing. It will go down every 5-minutes, it just drops the signal then it will get it back for 3-4 minutes and drop it again.

I tried for four days to get to talk to the owner again and when i did he told me that it WAS something wireless in my home that was ruining it. The thing is that I only have a Playstation 3 in my home that has a wireless connection on it but I am running it through a wired connection not wireless, so I do not understand how this could be the problem, anyway he is going to come out to my house next week to try and see what is going on again, but he says it is something wireless in my home. Do any of you guys have any idea what could be wrong? i mean i understand there is a ton of things that could be wrong and i have not told you much to try and figure it out so i understand you might not can help. But any and all help would be great. Thank you once again

Easy.
Turn off the PS3. If the problem goes away, you nailed it.

Yes sir, good Idea. I have done that and tried with the PS3 off but it still does the same thing. What I am asking is could the PS3 hurt the antenna as in ruin it, to where it does not work any more, even after the PS3 is off. He is saying that something in the house is ruining the antenna to where it won't work. It takes about a month to do it is what i am getting from him and it sounds crazy to me, but i will admit. I know a ton about computers but NOTHING about wisp and internet/protecal. I am being told something is drawing the signal from the antenna from inside my home. The only thing new since it started acting up a few months ago is the PS3 my girlfriend got for me. Thank you guys i know I am asking the impossable here. I just want my internet to work

The PS3 is known to interfere with WiFi but it cannot do permanent damage. Normally a WISP antenna (CPE) is mounted high enough that no amount of RF energy generated inside the home should be able to damage the receiver. If it really is damaged, it is more likely to be from an improper install, not anything inside the house.

It is possible that there is nothing wrong with the CPE and that you are suffering from interference. Besides the PS3, other devices are known to interfere like microwave ovens, cordless phones, bluetooth devices, alarm systems, propane tanks, etc.

Do you have cordless phones? I once lost my connection with my wireless router ever time I took a call or hung up with my old 2.4 cordless phone. I keep one old 900 phone and upgraded the other to a 5.8 cordless and no problems since then. If you do have corldess phone unplug them like you did the PS and see what happens.
