| Connecting MBR1000 to Hughes 7000 Modem
Please forgive the newb questions, but I am having trouble getting my MBR1000 router going. I have Verizon mobile broadband, but I'm not quite ready to get rid of Hughesnet satellite.
The MBR1000 works okay with my Verizon USB727 modem, but I need to connect it to the 7000 modem. I tried to connect thru the MBR WAN port with the supplied cable but the internet never came up.
Some basic questions?
1. Should the 7000 be connected thru the MBR WAN port? Do I need a crossover cable to connect the Hughes 7000?
2. The 7000 uses 192.168.0.1 and can't be changed AFAIK. Should I change the MBR to a different IP?
3. Can you think of any other settings for the MBR I need to look at?
Thanks for any help!
