Re: Cablevision Billing Woes :( They did the same thing to me a looong time ago, luckily I had the recipt and they said it was a mix-up on their part. I was moving and the tech took the old cable box and gave me a new one, apparently the tech (contractor) didn't record the box return with CV. One thing I learned is NEVER let the tech take your old equipment, return it in person at the Optimum Store and get a recipt. Luckily the recpit the tech gave me was good enough. One thing's for sure I don't like these contractors, they dont know what they are doing. I hear Fios doesn't use contractors, I guess thats another reason to switch (whenever it gets here and they finish "working on it"). |
