As for magicjack.com, why is there a free trail for something thats free? why does my download speed on the test sometimes go to 6.4k KBPS? it says my line downstream is 8200 or somethign KBPS, could this be it?

anyway I am wondering is this service a stand alone DSL service? I currently dont have phone service with AT&T but I got phone service with another provider.
