Thanks for your reply.
But nope, didn't work. I waited until the margin came up to 15, disconnected, did a manual reconnect (or on demand, same difference). Still refused to connect at a faster speed.
Only a power off and on seems to restore 3360.
What is Verizon's modem replacement policy? I was looking in the revised TOS (got the Email) and couldn't find it.....
*** EDIT ***
Doing a Maintenance / Backup/Restore / Restore operation seems to be the most painless way to reset the modem if I'm too lazy to get up and turn it off and on. Of course I backed up the current configuration first, but I only have to do that once. |

| That depends on when you got the modem/router in question. The warranty used to be a year but I believe that has changed and is now either a month or three with an option to pay for extra protection. -- reboot, reset, reconfigure, then recycle. |

| Given that he's running a 2200, he's had it a while. Verizon will sell you a new one, and if you happen to get lucky and get the right person on the phone, may give you one (good luck there). Best deal is usually E-bay. Just make sure if you get something different than a 2200, that it comes with the plug as well. They aren't interchangeable. |
