If the network is jammed.
For the past year, I've had near-unlimited free service from Tmobile, including the absolutely WORTHLESS "Tmobile @ Home", which can't maintain a call for more than about 10 minutes. (That might be a function of Time Warner, but I don't care.)
The GSM service and coverage have been excellent.
I'm afraid though, that so long as TMO only offers 1000 minutes at the $40 level, and their PAM service costs another $40 for 128Kbps EDGE service, I'll take my chances on Sprint SERO's lesser coverage and poor voice quality at $30 + occasional overages.
I don't need or want a $100/month "unlimited" package.
Let me buy just what I need and no more. |
