you might have to set up manually the card. Is it set to pick the ip address automatically?

Yep, I tried configuring it both ways: 1) IP/DNS assigned by the router, and 2) user defined IPs with router's DHCP turned off. If Comodo is installed, it works both ways, otherwise the situation won't change, no matter how I set up the card...
