I certainly use it, and I would certainly recommend it if you're interested in using something low-level (if you want), but also readily easy to use. You have to select a setting to view all of the options because it has advanced tools you can use. The features I use it most for are to keep track of battery cycles and wears as well as keeping tabs on hard drive and cpu temperatures.]]></description>

Of course, a lot of it matters as to <i>how/what</i> you are running while under battery power.  A lot of disk access will really cut down your run time.<br><br>If your Acer is low on ram, say around only 1gb, just adding ram will actually gain you a bit of run time, as you will cut down on hard disk access.<br><small>--<br>...something is happening here but you don't know what it is...do you, Mr. Jones?</small>]]></description>
