Meanwhile, AT&T Wireless customers would be happy just to get cellular coverage in those locations.

2 edits | For some reason AT&T has really poor coverage at the ski resorts themselves. My friends on Verizon, on the other hand, can yack away as they climb the ski lifts. I didn't make it to Big Bear this year though, so if something's recently improved over there I wouldn't know.
AT&T coverage is terrific in Mammoth, though, which is good, because you really need it there. |

No kidding! ATT sucks up here. A friend of mine went from ATT to Verizon, and acutally gets service! I'd like to switch, but I'm saving up to buy the phone outright and tell them to cram that contract someplace dark... Phones aren't cheap when they aren't subsidized by the contract. I just wish Verizon had more of a selection.
