hXXp://www.amwebinar.com/3/webinar/ As a heads up since you don't know this... It's preferred to ad screen shots or quote text in the post, rather than posting live links here without the detail.
Aside forum etiquette to not require one to click a link to see the detail that you refer too (I won't btw), more importantly (and close to my heart) it avoids giving away high value google rank link love from here and also additional site traffic through those clicks ($).. although AM thanks you I am sure..
Confident that's not what you intend... So could you add/reply with the detail to your post and forget the live links in the future? Thanks much.

Good post, btw!

-Jim probably a copyright violation, but like you say: said by JALevinworth :bad etiquette in itself too, haha Not a copyright violation, and specifically excluded from copyright violations when used in discussion, such as a forum like this. This is actually a fine example of what the much misunderstood "fair use" clause covers as intended.
How meta of you on the etiquette. Like a room of mirrors. |

 WOW! That's a lot! |  Closeup... | | |
Hilarious! Check out his "Attendees," but be aware the number keeps climbing!
But wait, there's more! A peek at the page's source gives this little gem:
<script type="text/javascript">
var Duration = 1000; //Duration in Milliseconds
var CountStep = 2; //Increment Step
var MinCount = 15000; //Counter Initial Value
var MaxCount = 16000; //Counter Maximum Value
var Count = MinCount;
function DoCount()
{
Count = Count + CountStep;
document.getElementById("pnlAtt").innerHTML = "Attendees (" + Count + ")";
var Ret = window.setTimeout("DoCount()", Duration);
if(Count === MaxCount) clearInterval(Ret);
}
window.setTimeout("DoCount()", Duration);
</script>
Gee, not TOO dishonest, eh? |

| No, there may have been a million viewers, or none, the script just adds two to the total every 1000 ms (one second). It's a free running counter bound by those limits.
I swear, everything about that guy just stinks. He has to stick a fake counter on his sales pitch page to try to get people thinking that they're part of some sort of popular movement. The only "movement" going on is the one he's taking on those victims. |
|
 | reply to garys_2k lol thanks for that script i knew it was bullshit but didnt know how to get to that! the best part is that you can go on the webinar at 4:13 am or 6:44 pm and it just so happens it starts at the same time you go to the webinar and the same people are logged in and the same amount of people are attending. listen to him he acts like its live. best part though is the free traffic hes trying to "educate" you about because he loves teaching people so much that costs 47 bucks. i really fucking hate this guy. |

Another funny post on his blog and another lame ass reply from Anthony Morrison. I cant believe he calls people "ignorant" and he actually thinks people can get into legal trouble for blogging about how they got ripped off. |

I cant believe he calls people "ignorant" and he actually thinks people can get into legal trouble for blogging about how they got ripped off. From Anthony Morrison's blog in reply to someone who claims he was ripped off:
"Blogging negative things about it is just ignorant and will likely get you in some legal trouble unless every single word you say is true and you can prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt."
Sounds like a shot across the bow to anyone who lost money to keep their mouth shut. Considering there are hundreds if not thousands of negative posts I wonder what Anthony is waiting for. Could it be his lawyers have advised him he has virtually no prospect of getting any judge or jury to concur with him. In the alternative defendants should have no trouble lining up thousands of witnesses to testify on their behalf. A more probable outcome would be counterclaims against Anthony Morrison once the defendants lawyers get a look at the evidence. Oh to be a fly on the wall at the discovery stage and in particular depositions of Anthony and his minions under oath. |

PMI (his hired training coaches - wow that sure is AM's "one on one" personal training, NOT!) are as guilty as AM in my eyes. They are doing what he pays them for. Taking other people's money. Making empty promises and delivering nothing but heartache and bankruptcy.

I hadn't had the materials very long before I got a phone call from Professional Marketing International. I was pressured to purchase for over an hour. I was told that if I paid a lump sum (thousands of dollars) that I wouldn't have to pay anymore money. I explained that if I put it on my credit card I would not be able to pay the minimum payment. He assured me that I would be taught how to sell on ebay and could make enough money until I got the program going. I fell for the sales pitch. There was no ebay training. I only did the orientation and the first lesson before I realized there was more money to be spent. I proceeded to try and back out of the program. Only to be reminded I only had three days to cancel. Of course my orientation wasn't until a week after I had paid the money. Now I cannot pay the minimum credit card payment. When I spoke to the Quality department they said I could not get out of it. Since I have no more money to put into the program I am forced to stop. I sought council and was advised to file bankruptcy. I am only asking for a refund. To me if they guarantee customer satisfaction they would give me my full refund. The sad thing is I was just trying to help my elderly mother with some bills.
Another victim of AM's Advertising Profits and PMI pressure tactics.
»www.complaintsboard.com/complain···697.html quote: Professional Marketing International, Utah Posted: 2011-01-11 by "SavvyB" Pressure to give credit card info Complaint Rating: 100 % with 12 votes Company information: Professional Marketing International Utah United States I have been contacted recently by PMI because I purchased Anthony Morrisons "Marketing Profits From Home" package. I like what I have read in his books, and feel that I made a sound purchase. (it was under $25.00) The program does include very good information and what is not included is easily found for free online.
After reading all kinds of comments referring to PMI, I recognize so many of the catch phrases that they (Trevor) used on me, just as they did on other people who have purchased numerous other products over the last couple of years. I have successfully put them off so that I could do research on their company before I spent my money with them.
I recognize a sales pitch right away. I recognize them creating a "sense of urgency" to buy their service. I recognize "the take-away", that if I dont buy in today, I could lose my spot to someone else. I recognize transferring me to a closer after building me up with scenarios of success, if only I will follow exactly what they say.
Then I am transferred to Matt R., the closer. Trevor has set up this phone appointment for me to speak with him, and I am told that not may people get to speak with Matt. So, at the appointed time Matt calls and goes over some of the same warm-ups that Trevor did. Then we get to the most interesting part. He wants to know how much money I am ready to put on my credit card TODAY. It goes around and around with me asking specific questions that are ignored in favor of more talk of how I am lucky to have this opportunity, how he gets paid whether or not I am ready to be a success and start today. He is preparing to start making a plan with me when I tell him my credit cards are in my safe deposit box in my bank. Everything screeches to a halt. I am asked when can I get to my cards, because we can go no further without my cards. I ask for a specific written accounting of what this $6, 965.00 is going to cover. I am told he is happy to do that AFTER I pay for the course. I am given nothing, absolutely nothing, to make me feel safe and secure about giving my credit card to a complete stranger. My questions dont get answered and I am redirected each time I attempt to get any sort of information.
I am supposed to speak with the people at PMI again once I have credit card in hand. I will call them and ask why I have found so many cases of people unhappy with their service from many products they have courses for. I will ask why all the testimonials have almost word for word quotes of what the PMI sales people say to get us to fork over a large sum of money.
They wont be getting mine. I will work Anthonys book without PMI and try to contact Anthony on my own to see if he knows what PMI is representing. I suggest that anyone who has found their way to this forum looking for info on PMI will keep their credit cards in their pockets and run for the hills.
PMI is bad news and dont have our best interest in mind. If you have made it here, your gut is telling you something isnt right with Professional Marketing International. Listen to your gut, and save yourself a lot of grief and a bad investment. (and to strengthen your decision, go to the BBB website and see how many times this company has changed its name.)
