HDTV via antenna works great hear, that is until there are storms in the area and you cannot get the signal, just when you need it the most.
Storms have never made my signal worse. One channel atually gets a higher signal strength when it's raining. But storms have never affected my OTA signal where I didn't get a signal. the picture is the same as when the sun is out.
