You can put something from an iPod onto a CD because the DRM for iPod downlaods allows for limited copying to CDs.

What I could see happening is these approved devices will have a format time bomb in the firmware. You can put your songs on the player, but after a designated time or some sort of counter, the device will format itself. |

True but if it were to pass you are guilty till YOU prove yourself innocent..Say for example at airport(goverment says cant happen but its in the bill)your listening to song/watching a movie,it just so happens the guy at the gate is havin a bad day and decides you need to have one too.Prove those files belong to you.
