Internet. Bad routing ?

anon : Since last week, i suddenly happen to have constant bad routing to most of New York Locations (anything on the Voxel network aka 208.122.xxx.xxx).

Months ago my routing and ping went from amazing to "wtf ok whatever" passing from 15-19ms to 30-40 ms.

i am now in the 50+ and only for New York. (still got the good low 30ms for chicago and 55-60 ms for texas).

while this doesn't do that much in terms of the internet, it's kinda annoying as hell for gaming.

also,
i don't know if its related, but sometimes, when i download a torrent, my internet just goes MAD slow (something like 1 KB/s). and the second i close utorrent, it goes back to normal. it doesn't do it all the time, just once in a while for a short-mid term time (few days usually) and then i am good for some weeks. Now it pisses me off because Mass Effect is so good ! and i want it.
