Looks like all the blast users are getting shafted, how come comcast doesn't put blast users at 3 upload now?

I couldn't agree with you more. Blast has been a speed level above Performance Plus (8/768), so what will Comcast be doing to deliver faster upload speeds for those of us who have to pay MORE for Blast? I wouldn't be upset if like the majority of Blast subscribers, it were a free upgrade from Perf. Plus.

probably because these rates are powerboost only.
the blast people probably have the 2mbps profile in their config files.

I get over 2000 upload but only for a limited time.

Once averaged for a 29.5 MB upload test I get the following numbers considering time vs. how much data was uploaded:

Upload #1
------------------------------------------------------------------
File size transferred : 29.5 MB (30937448 bytes)
Total time taken : 234.3 seconds (234296 milliseconds)
Throughput : 132.0 KB/sec [Kilobyte-per-second]
= 0.13 MB/sec [Megabyte-per-second]
= 1056.0 Kbps [Kilobit-per-second]
= 1.06 Mbps [Megabit-per-second]

BUT for the first 40% of that test, I'm blazing along at 2200 to 2600 Kbps (around 300+ KB/s), then all of a sudden it drops to a horrible 90~100 KB/s.

The speed upgrade at least in my area is completely false. I even pushed the little reset button on the back of my SBV5220 eMTA and watched it cycle from start.
