16 meg max for $50 in augest.

Starting in August, max is going to be 50 bucks with 100GB on a 2 year contract with 2 months free and everyone with unlimited, once their contract runs out, will still be on unlimited, but their price will go way up.

No word on what the unlimited will cost, but it will be significantly more than what the $50 max is, don't be surprised if it's over $100 a month.

Essential plus is going to be $14.95 soon too, as an introductory offer.

I'd be interested in finding out where you got that information. I haven't heard of anything like that. Might actually get that myself for when ever a Stinger gets installed in Ottawa.

I would take that offer too, it sounds good to me. right now I am on a 5meg fastpath profile ad it cost me $45/m for 90gb. $5 more and I can get 100gb @16meg that is just nice.

I have a hard time believing that, considering all that has transpired over the past year at Bell, especially with regard to unlimited, and switching to the Total Internet plans.

It depends upon the current CRTC issue at hand with throttling. If Bell is told to stop throttling then the offer will most likely be rescinded if in fact it is true. The network would be heavily taxed with so many people downloading at that speed...sounds too good to be true. If Sympatico decides to make such an offer it would cover my needs.

The offer with the LCD and TP dsl was on bell's site when I signed up back last month, and I asked if I would be getting the LCD and the lady on the phone said no.. The offer wasn't available.. yet it was still on the web site.. and now I find its still available? I feel so cheated! Is there anything I can do to get this LCD monitor now? This was going back 2-3 weeks ago.

Thats what I am paying now for total Internet performance

I wonder if Bell will let me out of my contract so I can get that deal?

dontcwhynot

@3menatwork.com
don't see why not considering that it's another contract that you will enter into.

It's a pretty good deal but in 2 year, bell will probably throttle everithing possible.

They will evantualy finishing by throttling HTTP

if anyone signs onto a multi-year contract with the likes of Bell, then they deserve what they get down the road and what comes with signing your rights away to bell.
