My 8/1 service out in Huntsville, AL got boosted the other day to 2Mbps, had to remotely reboot the modem, that was fun since I was remotely connecting from CA and didn't know if the modem would pull the same IP as before . The connection here just south of Sacramento got it's boost up to 1Mbps as well last week.
