Is the HDMI Port activate on the Motorola DVR box? I think the model number is 6412? Not sure on the model number. I'm building a house and will be needing to order a 50ft cable and I would prefer to use the HDMI if possible. I'm living with my grandparents right now and don't have access to a box to test. |

| They are, but I assume you are aware that a 50' HDMI run could be problematic, depending on several things like quality of the cable, the devices you are connecting, etc. I certainly would NOT guarantee to you that it's going to work 100% flawless...  |

Thanks for the info. I'm not to worried about the length of cable. I'll be ordering from Monoprice and the people at AVS forums said you can go up to 100ft easy. |
