|  where a dozen can eat and watch their own Video
I need an idea for a venue for a private parlor group.
We want to show a 50min nature video to 12-18 adults,
but instead of disrupting someones home, and eating
luke warm takeout food, we thought of finding a place
(restaurant, lounge, theater, hotel) with a quiet area
with a large video screen and sound system, where
we show our video while they serve us food & drink,
while only spending menu price plus tip and tax, we
don't want to spend extra for space or display use.
can anyone suggest such a venue,
preferably in Manhattan near
some major subway lines.
it's OK if strange venue patrons want to watch,
as long as they don't sit with us and are quiet.
and to be clear, we will bring the tape or DVD,
but want to show it on their A/V equipment.
our video has excellent musical accompaniment,
so a place with good acoustics would be great.
the video subject matter is about nature in Japan,
so an affordable Japanese place would be a bonus.
it can be scheduled any evening Sunday-Thursday. |
