I just spent a long after reading various posts, linksys help forums, and hours trying to configure, giving up and doing the linksys live chat. I was trying to connect my wrt 54g to the motorola 2210. Try to download and install into your router any firmware first. Also helpful to have a 2nd computer like a laptop when you're chatting with them. After that it came down to a few tweaks on the linksys set up page.
