| The best idea would be to do a Google search for user reviews for dial-up ISP's.
I've found that user reviews are better than most consumer reports since the users are actually using the ISP for a long period of time and can tell you if they are having or have had any problems with a particular ISP.
I can't remember the site so I can't post the link, but there is one site that rates the best dial-up ISP's so do a search for best dial-up ISP's also and you should find that site.
All dial-up ISP's will ask for you area code and then tell you if there service is available in your area.
I use AOL, I know that most people don't like AOL, but I get the best connection speed with them. There software is bloated, but I always uninstall anything extra that I don't want to use like AIM, the AOL toolbar and extra stuff like that. AOL has been problem free for me and I have been using there service for 3 years. |
