Security for Dial-up

A move is forcing me back down to dial-up from DSL. I have forgot all the security features or tricks of 56k if there was any. Probably less risk since its not on all the time, but is there anything you can do with 56k to improve security/privacy?

Someshire		 same security rules apply for both dialup and dsl so keep the same practice as before
