Re: North York outages over the past week?

If rain or thunderstorms can take out DSL Lines then that means there is major problems with the Bell lines in your area. (e.g. improper grounding, faulty equipment -or- wiring & etc.).

Yeah my line was out most of the day as well in North York.

As soon as the thunder started it disconnected.

Was out yesterday from 2pm till about 11pm. This is a really crappy situation as its of a grey area for us teksavvy customers. If we were with bell, would they be more eager to send people out and fix this shoddiness?

ok this is starting to really get ridiculous. down again for what must be the tenth time in the last two months. ive had no compensation at all for my outages or my time and no explanation as to why I've been offline for so much. I can have patience with regards to weather and other circumstances outside of their control, and I have tried to be as pleasant as possible to tech support, but I don't I dont think its right that I pay for service that I am currently not receiving.

just fyi, im in north york (bayview/finch) and i have had zero outages. it is not an area thing. a couple of my friends that are with tsi at leslie/cummer and donmills/sheppard have also had no issues.

maybe rain got into ur demarc box or something.
