I'm sorry to see them scale back Newsgroups but what percentage of their customers actually use them? I for one spend a lot less time then I used to because signal-to-noise ratio is so high as to make them almost useless. Give me a moderated site like BBR any day over the junk that contaminates any interesting topic on Usenet. /tom

The past few years, the only ones I've visited are fairly private and/or specialized. I really prefer newsreaders for such things over most clunky webforums, but there's just no attraction anymore for the old-school, noisy groups... KM
