uses for antenna and hybrid modem

I had Sprint BB since July 2000 in Tucson and just took my antenna down yesterday as a result of their dropping the service. Now, there HAS to be something cool that can be done with the Cal Microwave antenna and the hybrid modem... Does anyone have pointers to any details on just what is in this stuff ? Any thoughts other than trash or target practice ????

The receiver makes a great target. You can clamp it to a pole - raise it - lower it. Just kidding, The modem has to be tuned to the frequency received by the antenna. Unless you have access to the program that the field techs used to tune the modem - they're pretty much garbage.

Well, that's kinda along the lines of what I was thinking.... There are a couple of open source programs that will allow you to do some queries of the hybrid modem.... I was able to talk to mine, read out the signal strength and such, but I haven't found any more detail on how to program the thing.

Now if we could just get that program from some disgruntled Sprint engineer or installer.....
