I made the Strawnana Bread last night and it came out great.
 Panasonic DMC-FZ7 9.2mm 1/30th F3.2 ISO100
My modified recipe:
4 eggs, lightly beaten 1/4 cup honey 1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup strawberries, mashed 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped 1 cup mashed bananas 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup apple sauce 3 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 9x15 inch pans. 2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. 3. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add flour mixture and stir just until moistened. 4. Pour pans and bake for 1 hour or until loaves are done. -- -Jason Levine Support a children's charity. Buy a calendar. Shooting For A Cause Jason's Toolbox | PCQandA.com |

| reply to Jason Levine I know what you mean about the freezer! Mine's a scary place sometimes!
That recipe sounds tasty and nourishing and, important for me-would lend itself to being made with gluten-free flour.
Good luck and I hope this becomes a fun family tradition for you as it has for my family. |

said by kljflower :Easy way to freeze some is to rinse them, let them dry then put on cookie sheet in freezer. I think this is what we're going to do with some of them. Unfortunately, I don't know if I have enough room in my freezer for the cookie sheet. (It's pretty packed right now.)
I'm also thinking of trying this recipe (with some modifications based on the reviews): »allrecipes.com/Recipe/Strawnana-···ail.aspx -- -Jason Levine Support a children's charity. Buy a calendar. Shooting For A Cause Jason's Toolbox | PCQandA.com |
