I have no clue where Verizon's footprint begins around the Chicagoland area. Does anyone know?... Anyone?...Anyone?... Bueller?...Bueller?

atowncrazy join:2001-11-17 Carrollton, TX	Verizon footprint in the chicago area is rockford to the north. Dekalb to the west and sycamore to possibly sandwich to the southwest. and the rest is rural illinois. bloomington, peoria etc.

CUBS_FAN Next Year Again.. join:2005-04-28 Chicago, IL kudos:1	Verizon has a long way to making into Chicago. All the cities you mentioned are like 90 minute drives for me on the North Side. Rockford is like 2 hours away.

CUBS_FAN Next Year Again.. join:2005-04-28 Chicago, IL kudos:1 1 edit	At least you have the option for DSL, by me there is only Comcast HSI or Dial up. It's easy to decide which one to choose. Im about a mile out of range for AT&T DSL
