I think you underestimate the cost of deploying FTTH to a specific home. Very few would be willing to pay the cost, which would likely be in the 5 digit range. | |

| Re: Offer An Option OC-x only provides data and business class phone service. It would be interesting if Verizon would support provisioning OC-x with POTS or Video. I am sure the engineering for that is too complicated to support a few users. But, you never know.
Many businesses have flat screen tv's these days. Most are satellite. Verizon may be able to milk some more money from their Video infrastructure if they could provision it on OC-x lines. | |
