| reply to ztmike I have the feeling that Verizon's deployment policy has little to do with population, and a lot to do with local competition. If the only alternative to DSL in your town is 1 M/128K cable service from some unheard-of cable company, I highly doubt Verizon is interested in rolling out FiOS. However, if your town is getting DOCSIS 3.0 in the near future, then I'd say Verizon probably has you in their roll-out to-do list. |
