The first deployment in that general area is supposed to happen next month. Then they will just keep spreading the fiber from there.

azzonie : Oh, sorry about my poor comprehension skills. The only way to know is to try it. I have the interleave removed form my ADSL lines but it was a major pain in the butt to get it done. I am a business and I have more then one line, otherwise I do not think they would have done it.

I would call and see if you can get it removed to test it. I took me repeated calls over a long period and finally a email to the CEO here in Phoenix to get mine removed. I have talked to the engineers that actually shut it off and they told me that their are very few people with it removed. I think the number was around 70.

I was swithed to a diffrent gateway a few months ago and had to get it taken off again. It took 5 phone calls and 3 days to get done. I had to get them to connect me with the engineers to do it. The engineer laughed because he said the example of how to do it was my line.

SpcSubby : I will post more specifics later when i have more time but just switched from comcast to the Qwest Titanium 12m package and have some questions.

I did some latency and bandwith tests with comcast and then qwest as soon as I switched over. So far comcast has better pings but much lower bandwith. I'll look into the bandwith issue a little later but am wondering about my SNR and line attenuation results. How does this look, and should does this connection look like I'd be alright DISABLING Interleaving?
Downstream Upstream
Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 10134 894
SN Margin (dB) 9.50 11.50
Line Attenuation (dB) 27.10 14.60
CRC Errors 6 0

thanks for the help and I'll post the results of the tests a little later.
