[ Cable] AOL 10 - Insert Pictures in Email - Resizing

With AOL 9, when I selected pictures to embed within an email, a window came up asking if I wanted to resize the picture for the web. AOL 10 has an option to insert pictures, but unless I separately resize them, they become embedded at their full resolution and are too oversized for viewing by the email recipient. Am I missing a "new" way to automatically have the inserted pictures resized?

I don't know how different AOL 10 is but in 9.1 you open up e-mail by clicking on "Read", then on the top right is "Mail Options" (a drop down box will appear). Click on "Set Mail Preferences", click on the "Advanced" tab and put a check mark in "Present picture quality options when inserting pictures", click "Save" on the bottom.

(this option setting never works for me, as I always have to go in and resize it).

Now that you saved your setting and inserted a picture in your e-mail you can right click on the image and resize it by % (Full size, fit to window, decrease 10%,25%,50%, increase 10%, 25%, 50% 100%).

Hope that helps.

Just wanted to say I am having the same issue. There is no "set mail preferences" option yada yada for the 10.0 version. I contacted AOL Live help and they said I had to contact AolBeta@aol.com via e-mail since they are unable to provide an answer. I tried that e-mail, and lo and behold it doesn't work. Error message said either it does not exist or they are not accepting e-mails. Contacted Live Help again and they got the same problem when they tried. I was told all I can do is submit feedback which does not return a response or a solution because they do not reply to it. Seems we are both out of luck at this stage. Kinda crazy they would omit an option like this to begin with even tho it is a beta version. Even crazier that there is no way to get assistance yet they provide an e-mail through their support team that does not work LOL.
