sabzi join:2008-06-16 Aurora, IL 1 edit | What other service can I try? Your experience? Well... just curious what other services you have tried? I suppose people who switched from VT to some other provider do not frequent this forum anymore and are happy elsewhere.
I have made up my mind. If I do not receive the replacement adapter by Friday, I am off viatalk and will pursue a refund from the day the service stopped working.
Would you know of any other service with better call quality and especially, better support?
Please do share your experiences here.
Thanks. |

Its a PITA to sign up but after that all smooth sailing. No hiccups, NO FEES, mostly the same features, and the damn thing just works. The one problem I had was VM indicator wasn't working because I goofed and set something wrong in my BYOD PAP2. Support was on the phone within seconds, and worked for nearly an hour with me even though it technically wasn't their problem, it was mine. Believe it or not, unlike numerous calls with VT for various issues, when I got off the phone with QV not only was my problem actually FIXED, but I wasn't made to feel like an idiot and that I should have known better than to call them for help.
Been with QV since I left VT in the fall last year, and if it weren't for the LOW, LOW bill and cool features I would completely forget that it was VoIP. |

I just look at the QV forum on DSLReports, its empty. Could it be that they have so few problems and good enough customer service so that there is no need for their customers to look elsewhere for help? | reply to sabzi I was with Viatalk for almost two years. The last year was not very good (bad call quality, poor support). I switched to Phone Power a few months ago and couldn't be happier. Call quality is fantastic, support has been amazing. Bottom line is Phone Power just works for me. No server roulette, no rebooting adapter, no ignored support tickets. It just works. |

 | reply to sabzi CallVantage and VoicePulse are two of the highest rated ones here. I have Callvantage and am quite happy. |

That's the kind of site where anyone can post a listing, but that doesn't mean they own it or could facilitate a transfer. I would imagine a competitor or someone along those lines listed it there. It could also be a residual listing that the former owner of the domain had...they had a portfolio of thousands of domains and could have imported the list with this service or something.
We picked up the domain for $10K on Sedo in April 06. »www.dnjournal.com/archive/domain···6_06.htm and we're about to launch the service. With either of those in mind, that just doesn't make a lot of sense. Certainly not trying to sell a domain for $100.
Regardless, thanks for pointing it out ptrowski. |
