[modem/router] PPP Down? Connection Down?

Today, I was just doing some downloading and a bit of web browsing. Suddenly, my connection failed. Usually it would auto reconnect and it would work fine. But today, it reconnected but still no signal. I checked the configuration of my 237w westell versalink and it said "no connection" and PPP is down.

When I check the modem/router, the DSL line light is green and blinking..

Please help.

If your DSL light is blinking, make sure you checked the obvious things, all the filters and made sure the line sounds clear if you have phone service. If not, give the modem a reboot. If that doesn't work, there's probably something going on at the CO and you'll need to call up Verizon or use the Verizon Direct Forum (if they do these things). That's all I can really do if it's not syncing.

Call tech support sometimes the modem has changed some type of settings.
