I switched to VT from them.
Overall it was a pretty good experience with customer service and tech support, but the bottom line prompted me to switch. On the plus side, they had a little higher up time than VT, the codec they use takes less bandwidth, and most issues were resolved in one call.

On the down side with them, they did have the occasional issues with down time and more issues than VT with overall voice quality such as "tinny" voices and echos (however, please note this was over a year ago). Other negatives were that you could not tweak their device yourself, lower overall voice quality (because they use a different codec), many less features than VT and they are more expensive on any plan you might go with.

They are a mixed bag, but did seem to be pretty stable.
discjoker : I was with Viatalk for almost two years. The last year was not very good (bad call quality, poor support). I switched to Phone Power a few months ago and couldn't be happier. Call quality is fantastic, support has been amazing. Bottom line is Phone Power just works for me. No server roulette, no rebooting adapter, no ignored support tickets. It just works.

Support was on the phone within seconds, and worked for nearly an hour with me even though it technically wasn't their problem, it was mine. Believe it or not, unlike numerous calls with VT for various issues, when I got off the phone with QV not only was my problem actually FIXED, but I wasn't made to feel like an idiot and that I should have known better than to call them for help.

Been with QV since I left VT in the fall last year, and if it weren't for the LOW, LOW bill and cool features I would completely forget that it was VoIP.

I just look at the QV forum on DSLReports, its empty. Could it be that they have so few problems and good enough customer service so that there is no need for their customers to look elsewhere for help?
