If you saw trucks with big spools of cable on them then it may be fiber. I too would like FIOS services in my home. But there is no official confirmation from Verizon that FIOS will be deployed in Northern Flushing soon after the PSC signs off. Yes, all of NYC will eventually get FIOS. I just hope that our neighborhood will see FIOS within months rather than within years.
