| US lawmakers pass wiretaps bill
US lawmakers have passed a bill to shield telephone companies who helped in the White House's controversial warrantless wiretaps programme.
The bill also grants the US government the power to continue with its warrantless surveillance scheme.

Wiretap every one of those calls originating in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, etc. Better yet and if only the technology existed, trace the calls and send the confirmed bad guys a laser-guided greeting card from the families of the WTC victims. God bless the USA. -- Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.
