| Any experienced Earthlink user's out there?
I'll save you the gory details, but all the extra junk Eartlink makes you download to get the accelerator has slowed my computer to a crawl. Not just 56k slow, but so slow at times you wonder if you're still connected. Hours on the phone with tech support are mostly worthless. I need someone who is familiar with Earthlink and ways to speed it up and get rid of stuff I won't use. If anyone else has ideas on how to get the most out of 56k, I'd love to hear it. No dial-up has ever been as slow as what I got, somethings wrong. |
