| Re: toilet paper - which way on roller ? In the event it makes it onto the dispenser -- as opposed to sitting on its end on the counter next to the toilet -- it's positioned to feed over the top.
Placing it feeding from the bottom is just weird. It'd be like playing the pipe organ with the music upside down.

1 edit | Over the top, there is no other way about it. If you do it in reverse you're a tard. Cool question. -- Lack of preparation on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Corn cobs stick in the pipes.
Plenty of paper delivered by USPS though. Most of it's shiny, but some is good old unfinished pulp. -- Cheers, Chuck MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] PChuck's Network

| Under
It's the only way to tear any squares off in a controlled manner, using one hand.
If you're under 3 feet tall, maybe being below the level of the roll makes "over" work for you. When I am tearing squares, I find under is the only way. -- Cheers, Chuck MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] PChuck's Network

It tears off easier over the top because you have gravity/friction helping you out. Trying that from the bottom just pulls out way more than you need.

That's the Asian system (Thai anyway).
The bathrooms are fully tiled, with drains in the floors. Some people carry their own paper, because not all bathrooms have paper. -- Cheers, Chuck MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] PChuck's Network
