UNDER UNDER UNDER.

Over is retarded and awkward, as bad as leaving the toilet seat up!

Here's a thought:

Whoever goes to the trouble of putting a new roll up gets to set it HOWEVER THEY LIKE.

Although I'm almost always the one who replaces it, I always flip it to UNDER if some dope other person puts it on the wrong way.

Re: toilet paper - which way on roller ?

quirky thread...

Readers Digest - years ago (maybe ten + years?)- and this is from memory, so don't quote me exactly on this - did a survey on this exact thing...
How I remember this, I don't know, it was in a bathroom and I thought the results were interesting...

Guess what?
More than half (want to say 70%) go over.
Have things changed drastically in the past few years?
Doubtful.

Under seems weird to me, and always has. Do I care that much if someone else has a different preference? Not really.

Equating this preference to matters of barbarism, or even the matter of lids being up/down, isn't really the same thing... after all, we're using TP, not leaves or bare hands, and many people have water/sewer systems in place...
We should be a little bit appreciative of such things...

i prefer over the top -
That is because you have never had a cat play with the roll.
I have 16 cats and none of them have ever unrolled the roll(and for the record, i like it over)
16 cats! excellent alternative to TP.

From the top.... I can't stand it when the wife just throws it on there and it's not right...

When you are in the thick of it, you want the paper to come off FAST!!!

Well, that's another debate. I figure if the man is charged with putting the seat up, the woman can take care of putting it down. Shared responsibility, a necessary ingredient for all marriages

Corn is starting to cost to much so we switched to phone books, free and they even deliver 2 or 3 of them, bonus, reading material.

Corn cobs stick in the pipes.

Plenty of paper delivered by USPS though. Most of it's shiny, but some is good old unfinished pulp.

We have three cats, and they all at times are shredders. This guy, who is named General Lee, always looks innocent. But we know better.

It's not our place, it's the cat's place. They let us live here as long as the Mrs. feeds them and cleans the boxes.

just curious - which way do you place on roller and why?
i prefer over the top - easier to find the end and protects the wall from dirt and paint wear
Well, since you "TRUST NO ONE", why are you asking? You really should buy "recycled" toilet paper (»www.sanicopaper.com/?gclid=CN-66···odKRjYWg), which saves on the environment. Toilet paper was actually invented by the Chinese and my friend, Yun Din Tao, says you should do it over the top. However, "a study found that such a method could lead to injuries to the soft tissues and muscles in the hand and arm. Most industrial toilet paper companies use over the top exclusively but the toilet paper rolls are enclosed in a plastic container so it won't damage walls, stall walls, mostly made from pressed wood, and paint. It also is recommended by commode experts that you use a 2-ply roll since it is smaller than a double roll saving damage to walls, stalls, etc. In addition, you should always clean the toilet paper spool since it can cause diseases. After washing your hands, you should remove the next five pieces and flush them to prevent disease. Be sure to wash your hands a second time. Kleenex recommends never using toilet paper to blow your nose since urine or excrement traces could be on the toilet paper. For complete information on toilet paper, please visit CDC.gov." -Dr. Jerome Kleinman, CDC
