Noticed it too. Wayne, NJ. I like to go to sleep with a music channel on but it's becoming annoying with the breakup's.

I think its also posted in the voom topic but network wide since about 3 or 4 days ago , channels not working, internet slowdowns and stuff. here in babylon i am still getting it. Radomlyall channels going grey or garbled (on all tv's) and internet slowing to a crawl.

PS Sorry it was in the "Lower channels gone on analog TV??" topic. I am getting these same problems again . I have a feeling a lot of peoples problems fro mthe past couple of days is related to this.

Cablevision is having MAJOR MAJOR network problems. Everything including internet and phone has been screwed up., This would include the music channels.
They are? It would?

Same here. I started to notice this annoying audio dropout/breakup on the music channels about a week ago. And the volume on the music channels is sometimes lower than normal. In my opinion, picture and sound quality is not as good as it used to be.

That sounds like a major problem -- have you had a service call to check it out?
Nah. I won't waste the time, there are loads of threads in here documenting peoples' efforts at getting the problem fixed. I'm in the same area as StreetSpirit (IIRC) and I think you're familiar with his plight.

He's been banging his head against the wall for months now with no resolution. It's an infrastructure problem CV is simply not willing to spend $$ on to fix right now.

(which have been shit (1-4 Mbps) for at least 6 months now from ~6PM to ~1AM daily) seem to have gotten somewhat better during the primetime hours. It's been fluctuating between 5-10 Mbps.

YES.

I started noticing this a couple of days ago. The 4250HD is connected via coax SPDIF if that matters.

Curiously, I've also been noticing that my OOL speeds (which have been shit (1-4 Mbps) for at least 6 months now from ~6PM to ~1AM daily) seem to have gotten somewhat better during the primetime hours. It's been fluctuating between 5-10 Mbps.

Coincidence?

Don't know how many of you listen to the music channels, but I'm noticing breakup quite often today on a few of them

Anyone else hear this? I guess its the equiv of pixelization.
