 Aurelian join:2008-06-22 Richmond Hill, ON | DSL Service Down Hi There. I just recently signed up with Velcom. I received my modem and Bell came to install the Dry Loop DSL while I was out of my house. So I connected the modem up and I get a solid DSL sync light, called Velcom to find out my username and password and then tried to log onto the network. I was able to log on successfully, but although I received an IP address I am unable to ping anything other than my assigned IP. No luck in pinging the DNS server or anything else for that matter. I called Velcom up 3 times but they said that the problem is that the Bell network is experiencing outages but this has been 3 days ago and I checked the Bell network and they said everything is fine so I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA. |
