Re: [Scam] Anthony Morrison/Hidden Millionaires Infomercial Hi, Doctor Four: As you can imagine I am quite upset to read some of the things I have read here on this message board. Not only is the article on Yahoo (the one you read and linked to to start this whole thing) untrue, if you read it carefully you will see that the person who started it was just like you, he/she never came to one of my events. I love how people will write about me and say things that aren't even true, post them on the internet, and then sleep at night thinking they have done someone somewhere justice. Its absurd. You should have come to my event. If you did you would see that you were wrong about the price, wrong about the information, and wrong about most everything you typed. bobunited: You obviously aren't a member of my company. You don't even know how much the system cost. Again posting your "opinions" and calling my system bad. When in fact its just that, an opinion. Mr Texas: This is a LIE. You are completely telling lies to people on this message board. Its funny you should question my integrity by asking "what millionaire lives at home with his parents" well THIS ONE DOES. Honestly, if you don't like it that's perfectly fine, I don't care. If your questioning whether or not I have money I urge you to just come to our offices and visit. Since your a "member" of my company your welcome to do so. I am not the type of person that's going to sit here and flaunt my things to prove I have money. Have I made millions? Yes. Do I really care if you believe that statement? No. Money Maker: I appreciate your comments. Its very rare to find anyone that actually makes money, reading these posts. I do appreciate you taking the time to let people know you are making money with my system. I suppose that comment there makes this one by doctor four "It sounds like the only one making money off Hidden Millionaires is Anthony Morrison." untrue huh?
Again. For those of you that read this and want to pass judgement on me because of things said by people that didn't even attend my events that's fine. For those of you that want to meet me and judge for yourself who I am and what I am about then feel free to come to one of my events. It's sad that while the internet can be used in so many good ways. Ways to generate money, stay close with friends and family, and research things from around the world, there are always people who will abuse it. Post lies, bad material, and other things not suit for anyone's eyes. Its the world we live in today. A world where nobody is responsible for their actions, and that should really change.

Re: [Scam] Anthony Morrison/Hidden Millionaires Infomercial I think the plan does work. I had an internet business and spent a lot of time doing ads on Google and Yahoo, etc. It takes patience and perseverance. In fact, initially I worked 24/7 on it. My business required a lot of inventory, so I gave it up. I like Anthony's hands-free method--hands-free eventually. I also don't think it's an issue that you can't use credit card names in the ads. That's pretty much a given--that you can't use someone's proprietary name. If you did use Visa, for example, the searchers would get a whole lot of return on travel and passports. I didn't have the cash to sign up at the seminar because I'm unemployed at the moment, but am looking forward to doing so soon. |

 | I suspected Morrison would be attempting to put water on this little fire by mentioning this thread at his seminars and doing what he does best: Talking his way out of trouble.
The problem is not the idea behind the system. The idea is one that obviously makes sense and does work very well for some. Just like any other good scam (or lie), there has to be a measure of truth in it in order to make it believable enough to sell.
Personally, I'm glad to see him advertising this thread himself because now I fully expect to start seeing posts from people he schmoozed into trusting him despite what they read about him on forums such as this one and they're not going to be happy. It's only a matter of time.
(By the way, jb, it's worse than you think. The system is officially priced on the website at 6k. Morrison advertises it on the road at the "discounted price" of 4k.) |

The plan that appears to work, is the one in which you pay $4000 for the privilege of becoming a Morrison contractor and spending more money trying to get referrals for him.

My business required a lot of inventory, so I gave it up. This one may be even worse, since you will have to sink $4,000 in up front. The credit card referral business is old news, the market is saturated with thousands and thousands of sites. A Google quotation search of "credit card offers" generates 2.85 million returns.
Do you see any of Morrison's $4000 affiliates in the first two pages.?
Take a survey, ask any of your friends relatives etc., if they currently use a credit card that they obtained by clicking on a referral link on the internet and applying. That should give you some idea.

That's pretty much a given--that you can't use someone's proprietary name. ... You will have to spend even more money to generate leads. It will take around 150 referrals that end in approved card applications, just to break even on you initial payment. How will you even get that many completed referral approvals without spending more money. You will be one of thousands and thousands of places all fighting for the same limited pool of people. Only a limited number of people use that method of applying for cards. They have to wade over the tons of junk card mail they already get at home.
said by banyontrees:...I didn't have the cash to sign up at the seminar because I'm unemployed at the moment, but am looking forward to doing so soon... That is one of the most disturbing aspects of the growing epidemic in this genre of internet business peddling. They are targeted to people who can probably least afford to buy in to the snake oil. Many of these newcomers may be retired, unemployed, and looking for a real primary source of income. They are not cyber knowledgeable enough to really understand what this is. Those with robust knowledge of the internet and cyberspace in general, see exactly what is really going on here.
Even if you do a cursory check of this saturated card referral market you will find that the going rate for an affiliated card referral site is "$0". In fact one of the more expensive ones runs around $99 plus $14 a month.
Look at one of Morrison's card recruiting sites:
»creditcardsystem.com
quote: The total amount billed will be $5524.95 + 29.95 for your first month of service for a total of $5554.9. A recurring charge for the $29.95 monthly fee will be made until the time you close your account.
Yes, I know the seminar sign ups are at a $1554 "savings".
Here is what the market is now at:
quote: ONLY $99.95 + $9.99/month for 14-page credit card site + MORE...
I endorse neither, just showing comparative examples of where the market valuation is at. There are many free ones as well.
This growing whole life coaching, upselling, google adsense, affiliate marketing, is clearly aimed at the least knowledgeable arrivals to the internet, who know little about how such businesses function, and their relative worth.
What is most obnoxious about this topic is the fact of the prolific use of the term "Hidden Millionaires". Clearly meant to imply a distorted opportunity. The common and frequent use of catch phrases such as "You are only limited by your own ability or motivation to succeed" should be evaluated in the context of the task. Perseverance and motivation may not make any difference if you are trying to climb up a greased pole, the outcome may still be the same regardless of the fervour.
Many of these current internet businesses, marketing, road to becoming a millionaire, have the same benevolent marketing themes. I was poor, now I am rich, Now I feel obligated to help you be that way too. That is a euphemism for my operation is saturated and I can make far more money selling the idea to you, than I can by doing it myself.
Part of what brings ridicule in this forum to this genre of "Hidden Millionaires" internet business opportunities, are who they target. Morrison is just one of many peddlers in this current epidemic, in fact he is late to the market, though his targeted audience may be new.
Just look at another one his recent money making business opportunities:
Entrepreneurial Prodigy Anthony Morrison Unveils Secrets To Successful Internet Domain Name Investing
Madison, MS (PRWEB) June 27, 2008 -- His success, born out of hard work and a determination to help his family when it needed him most, made him a millionaire at the tender age of 23. And now, Anthony Morrison is turning his considerable talents to the task of teaching people how to profit from one of the most exciting marketplaces in America today: Internet domain names.
Thanks to a brand new video series and the launch of an online marketplace called InvestDomains.com, Anthony Morrison is revealing the secrets to successful Internet domain name investing. Each year, millions of dollars trade hands in the lucrative business of buying and selling domain names. Many of those names were purchased originally for twenty dollars or less. Best of all, the potential of this burgeoning field continues to grow unabated.
Business Wunderkind
The unveiling of InvestDomains.com is the latest achievement in the trajectory of one of America's most gifted young entrepreneurs. Anthony Morrison, now 25, has been making money through Internet-related businesses since the tender age of 13. It was during his junior year at Mississippi College, however, when a tragedy not only struck Morrison's family, but also forced a new direction in his young life........
. You have got to be kidding me !!! Please !! saturated market number two, especially for a newbie. What are the odds that a domain name available to register today that will be worth $$$$ to someone tomorrow. If you plan on entering this market by buying his "how to" dvds along with a monthly subscription, you will be at a distinct disadvantage to the domain front runners, automated script registrations etc etc.

 | I know the ads cost money on Google from my prior internet business. I also know that it takes several years to build up your standing online. That is, as time goes on and you receive clicks to your ads, your position moves up in the queue. |

To expand on those thoughts, why spend hundreds of dollars upfront to buy a "system" & then pay $29.95 per month to service the "system" when wikipedia gives everything you'll ever need to know about the domain name "system" for FREE? »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybersquatting Cybersquatting From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Technical strategies for cybersquatters..."
I suppose in my own perverted way the more balls being juggled, the better. It's my experience that it's just a matter of time that anyone dancing that line drops one of them, allowing the regulatory/LE agencies to step in & exact some sense of justice. Generally speaking, the beauty of this is that the type of action most likely to occur when one of the juggling balls falls will be a civil action. Humans create penal actions, God created civil actions. Should one of those juggling balls fall or should have one already fallen, the target won't even become aware of any Government civil actions until after his assets have been placed out of his direct control. |

 | reply to MrMorrison ok, ENUF people. Please stop arguing. I need to know the truth about this business BEFORE I decide to attend one of Mr. Morrison's Seminars. Mr Morrison, would you please email me at my personal email address : kayerobinson1@yahoo.com at your earliest convenience, I would like to talk to you about this business and find out exactly what it is about and the cost involved. Time is money and my time is valuable. I dont want to be wasting my time on something I cant afford. Oh and by the way, if this is about Google Adwords, did you all know that you can get this program for FREE? I accidentally stumbled onto a link while on Google one day and got it for free. I havent tried it out yet. Hmm, maybe I should? |

You should consider looking into Government Grants for people on Welfare to get job re-training for free and being a grant means you are not locked into a loan that you have to pay off later.

 | Regarding "MsMovieStar", this seems to be the typical kind of person that is interested in Morrison's system. Someone who is down on their luck financially and looking for a miracle. They're desperate and willing to take a chance and try just about anything. Morrison certainly isn't the only one out there raking in an income off these individuals but he's one of the worst simply because what seems to sell them in the end is his extreme "sincerity".
His story of his family losing everything appeals to them because they can relate to it and they believe that if he knows how they feel, certainly he wouldn't lead them astray. For that reason, I'm extremely happy to see that this forum has helped to spread the word and expose his company for what it truly is. A scam. |

Exactly -- Morrison's system seems to cater toward those who see the Internet as some sort of magical moneymaking machine, and that attending one of these seminars will make all of their problems disappear in an instant. In fact, most of the infomercials seem to focus on this crowd.
As for 14529656 's problems with the law.... Having an extensive criminal history is probably not a good idea if you're planning to acquire any kind of gainful employment. I don't think any of the Internet moneymaking schemes (even the semi-legitimate ones that have a slight chance of working) will work for hardened criminals. -- irc.removed.us - #dslr | DSLR Phishtracker | Email: removed@dslr.net |
